What standards does the EP conveyor belt abrasion rate follow?

For EP rubber conveyor belts, generally comply with DIN53516 standard.

DIN 53516 for wear abrasion is to test sample mass loss by rubbing on abrasive paper under certain pressure. Calculate the volume loss(mm3) by sample density and the loss of standard rubber. It is suitable for test rubber and elastomer. If your material is a EP rubber conveyor belt or other elastomers, it may be suitable for you. This test standard can be conducted by DIN abrasion tester. DIN 53516 is an accepted method (standard) to rate the abrasion resistance between rubber compounds. Operators, engineers, and manufacturers use it to compare differing cover rubber products.

But DIN53516 does not quantify the abrasion degradation due to differences in applied stress. elastic modulus, tensile strength, cross-link density, filler properties. It is not comprehensive. It does not include temperature, variations in rock morphology, edge sharpness, size and impact conditions, pressure and turbulence properties.

DIN53516 has separate tests for tear or gouging resistance, which some argue is a part of abrasion. It is a matter of scale.

Normally we use DIN abrasion tester for EP rubber conveyor belt AR testing, its principle is: At a predetermined contact pressure and a given area, the sample and the sandpaper into a certain angle, the measurement sample at a certain level of friction generated on the abrasive wear resistance. The sandpaper attached to the surface of the roller package, the sample is pressed against the drum with the sandpaper so that the lateral movement of the drum sample.
