As the economies of various countries gradually recover from the epidemic, industrial activities have gradually become active. However, due to the interruption of the supply chain for several years, the most basic bulk transportation industry will face the problem of a shortage of conveyor belts, and even require importing to other countries, so that we have to face the complex conveyor belt standards of various countries at this time. So how do we choose the correct conveyor belt specifications under different conveyor belt standard?
At present, almost all conveyor belt manufacturers in the world market follow several internationally accepted rubber grade systems. Most countries follow the German DIN22102 grade standard. Of course, there are also regional grade standards, for example, most American countries are accustomed to following the RMA grade standard. The country also has its own grade standard covering standards, such as China’s GB/T7984, Australia’s AS1332, Japan’s JISK6322, Britain’s BS-490 and South Africa’s SANS-1173.
These standards are designed to provide end users with information about different applications, and this information refers to the levels used in these ratings. In order to facilitate comparison, we have summarized and sorted out the use standards of conveyor belt cover rubber in various countries, and expressed it in terms of the three most important indicators: tensile strength(Mpa), elongation at break(%) and abrasion loss(mm3).
