1. Reasons for damage to the covering rubber surface:

     (1) The quality of the EP conveyor belt is not good. In the manufacturing process of the EP conveyor belt, due to insufficient adhesive force of the rubber material, defects in the process, or inadequate control of a certain manufacturing process, the EP conveyor belt frequently generates friction with the rollers, rollers, and conveying materials during the operation, and the friction is counteracted. The force causes the cover rubber to gradually peel off, and in severe cases, the tape surface cover rubber tears.

(2) The surface of the EP conveyor belt is in contact with high-temperature materials. When the EP conveyor belt transports the dirty slag coal in the boiler room, the uncooled high-temperature dirty slag coal melts the EP conveyor belt cover rubber, which intensifies the abnormal wear of the belt surface. In addition, sparks and slag generated during electric welding and gas cutting operations can also damage the tape cover.　

　 (3) The EP conveyor belt has suffered a greater impact. The design of the hopper of the transportation system has a large drop, unreasonable guidance to the coal flow, and a large amount of large materials in the system, which can cause the EP conveyor belt to be strongly impacted, and more pits are formed on the belt surface.

2. Longitudinal tear:

(1) Reasons for the life of the EP conveyor belt. Poor storage of the EP conveyor belt, exposure to sunlight, rain, and long-term water immersion during operation will cause the main core layer of the EP conveyor belt ; long-term use of the EP conveyor belt weaves will cause combined fatigue, broken strands and broken wires. Longitudinal tearing occurs during the operation of the EP conveyor belt.　　

(2) Transporting large materials. EP conveyor belt machines are used to transport large and long materials in violation of regulations. During transportation, the materials are accidentally jammed and penetrate the EP conveyor belt to cause longitudinal tearing.　　

(3) The system enters ironware or hard fragments. The unloading and reprinting point is an indispensable part of the EP conveyor belt transportation. When the transportation system enters the long iron or hard fragments, and the falling impact penetrates the EP conveyor belt or jams the worn EP conveyor belt during reloading, it will cause tearing of the EP conveyor belt. belt.　

3. Lateral fracture:

(1) The quality of the EP conveyor belt joints is poor. The quality of the EP conveyor belt vulcanized joint is not good, and the long-term water immersion of the metal clamp joint causes  the corrosion of the braided belt core. During normal load operation, it will cause a broken belt accident.　　

(2) The EP conveyor belt encounters greater jamming resistance. EP conveyor belt loading and accumulation, large pieces of gangue or coal are stuck in the hopper guide or between the idler and the EP conveyor belt. There are more broken idlers along the EP conveyor belt or more materials accumulated under the EP conveyor belt. Reset the front and rear clamps, so that the EP conveyor belt machine bears great resistance when running, causing the EP conveyor belt to break laterally.
