Due to the poor quality of the conveyor belt, the contact of the belt surface with high-temperature materials, the large impact on the conveyor belt, the service life of the conveyor belt, the transportation of large-size materials through the conveyor belt, the entry of iron or gangue blocks by the system, the large resistance resistance encountered by the conveyor belt, the conveyor belt Deviations, poor quality of conveyor belt joints, small pieces of hard material gradually worn through the conveyor belt between the belt surface and the chute or sweeper, etc. Scratches on rubber conveyor belts often occur.
After the conveyor belt is longitudinally torn and scratched, the first task before it is to solve the problem of the belt as soon as possible and resume production as soon as possible. Combined with the specific situation of the on-site belt scratch, understand whether the surface of the conveyor belt is scratched, the width of the scratch, and the length of the scratch, and then make timely response measures.
Long-distance longitudinal scratch and tear repairing method of conveyor belt
1. Mark the scratched part
Choose a repair belt that is 3-5 cm larger than the damaged part of the conveyor belt, and mark the scratched part as the center to prepare for subsequent polishing.
2. Grinding of damaged parts
Use an angle grinder and tungsten steel disc to grind the scratched part. The grinding depth of damaged parts should be greater than the thickness of the repair strip to prevent the repair strip from being scraped off by the sweeper.
3. Clean the adhesive parts
The cleaning agent SK353 is used to clean the polished part and the repair strip part of the semi-sulfide chlorinated naphthalene layer.
4. Apply cold-curing adhesive
Apply the mixed solution of cold vulcanizate SK313 and curing agent UT-R40 to the adhesive surface of the conveyor belt, and then apply it after the first drying. Subsequently, the semi-sulfonated naphthalene layer of the repair strip was also coated again, and the two layers were pasted while drying until a slight sticky feel was felt.
Note: The adhesive surface of the mixed liquid conveyor belt should be painted twice, and the repair strip should be painted once.
5. Paste the RIT patch
When pasting the repair strip, press it with a pressure roller, and brush the cold vulcanizate SK313 mixture again along the edge of the repair strip.
6. Lap repair strip
After the scratched part exceeds 10 meters, it is necessary to grind the repair strip. The grinding method is as shown in the figure.
Remarks: If the conveyor belt is completely scratched, the working surface and non-working surface should be pasted.
