How to adjust the misalignment of the conveyor belt correctly

We are not unfamiliar with conveyor belts to return the deviated conveyor belts obediently, but familiarity does not mean being able to repair and use them, so today we will introduce the problems and related experience of conveyor belt deflection.

 The fundamental reason for the misalignment of the conveyor belt is that the resultant force of the external force on the conveyor belt in the width direction of the conveyor belt is not zero or the tensile stress in the direction perpendicular to the width of the conveyor belt is uneven.

 At this time, we need to check whether the two rollers are on the same horizontal line and whether they are the same size. If the belt runs to the right, fine-tune the left side of the rollers tightly. Do not adjust too much at a time, and see if the conveyor belt can run back. After fine-tuning, if the conveyor belt is still running badly, shut down first, push the conveyor belt back to the center position, and adjust it a bit more, and the speed will be slower during the test machine. Tighten the loose side and loosen the tight side. Repeatedly adjust until the conveyor belt is tight on both sides of the drum.

 If the overlap between the horizontal centerline of the supporting roller set and the longitudinal centerline of the conveyor does not meet certain requirements, and the misalignment between the two is greater than 3 mm, it will also cause the conveyor belt to deviate. At this time, we need to debug in the long installation holes on both sides of the roller bracket. The specific operation is, which side of the conveyor belt is biased, which side of the supporting roller set moves forward in the direction of the conveyor belt, or Push the other side back until the coincidence degree is reached.

 Add a baffle plate to keep the material in the center position on the cross section of the conveyor belt. It can be adjusted because the material is not centered, and the material is not in the middle of the conveyor belt.

 Of course, the best way is to add anti-misalignment strips (guide strips) at the bottom of the conveyor belt. When the conveyor belt is customized, after adding the guide strips, you can ensure that it will not run off during use.

 Since there are many factors that cause the conveyor belt to deviate, it should be solved from the aspects of conveyor design, manufacturing, installation and debugging, use and maintenance.
