During the running of the EP conveyor belt, sometimes the deviation will occur. In general, it is not uncommon for the conveyor belt to deviate due to the problem of the conveyor belt itself. The conveyor belt has to be displaced mainly because of the conveyor. The conveyor can cause the conveyor belt to run off because the rollers are not parallel, the brackets are not vertical, and the rollers are not flexible. For a relatively short conveyor belt, due to the inflexibility of the single-side roller rotation and the probability of other factors, the conveyor belt is more likely to be deflected, while the long conveyor belt, due to the increase in the number of rollers, The misalignment of the side effects will be reduced, so the deviation caused by the conveyor belt will be less.
Of course, except for individual cases, such as when the aligning roller is not flexible or tilted and fixed, the surface of the roller is not clean enough, etc., which can cause the conveyor belt to run off.
When the EP conveyor belt is in normal operation, the belt speed is not less than 95% of the drum rotation speed. If the friction between the conveyor roller and the EP conveyor belt is insufficient, the ep conveyor belt is prone to slippage. There are many reasons for the insufficient friction between the conveyor drum and the ep conveyor belt. Common ones are insufficient tension, load start, and insufficient friction coefficient of the conveyor drum surface.
The reasons for insufficient tension are insufficient tensioning stroke, the insufficient weight of the counterweight, too long conveyor belt, etc.;
The reasons for the insufficient friction coefficient of the drum surface are: the surface of the drum is too much worn, the EP conveyor belt is too wet or stuck with lubricating oil, and the surface of the EP conveyor belt is stuck with material (easy to be swelled by water).
Solution:
1. conveyor belt slipping
The reason is that the conveyor belt tension is small or the surface of the drive pulley is stuck with material or moisture. The screw should be tightened tightly to increase the tension. Clean the drive pulley and increase the cleaning force of the empty cleaner.
2. The conveyor belt runs off at both ends
The reason is that the drum assembly position is skewed, and the screw of the tensioning device on the side of the deviation should be tightened to adjust the position of the drum to the drum. Adjust the position of the drive pulley by adjusting the bearing housing.
3. The conveyor belt runs off in the middle
The reason is that the roller is not installed correctly. Check that the mounting position of each roller is perpendicular to the conveyor belt, otherwise, loosen the mounting bolts to adjust the roller position. Tighten the bolts after adjustment.
In addition, the feed point drop point is not at the center of the conveyor belt and may cause deviation, and the feed should be improved.
