The basic principle of belt conveyor

The belt conveyor is a continuous conveying device that uses a conveyor belt as traction and load-bearing member to carry out material transportation through the movement of a conveyor belt carrying materials. It is formed by the conveyor belt through the drive pulley and the tail drum to form an endless belt, which is supported by the roller to limit the deflection of the conveyor belt. The tensioning device provides the required tension for the normal operation of the conveyor belt. The drive unit drives the drive roller during operation. The conveyor belt is driven by the friction between the drive pulley and the conveyor belt, and the material is loaded on the conveyor belt and moved together with the belt.
