Conveyor belts and spare conveyor belts in large-scale projects can or may be stored for several months or even years. Therefore, storage conditions directly affect the performance of the conveyor belt, and good storage conditions can avoid the influence of various unfavorable factors on the conveyor belt.

Precautions for storage of conveyor belts:

1. The conveyor belt is stored in a dry, dark place. The ideal storage temperature is 10 °C to 20 °C. Storage places below 5 °C and above 35 °C should be avoided.
2. When storing in the open air, it is necessary to use a rain cover cloth or similar covering to change it. And raise the ground to prevent the conveyor belt (especially the cotton fabric core conveyor belt) from being affected.
3. Conveyor belts should not be exposed to direct sunlight. When storing, it is necessary to prevent ultraviolet rays and X-ray radiation. Do not engage in welding operations and various radioactive activities in storage areas.
4. It can be stored or used in oil, gasoline, paint, acid, and chemicals.
5. Do not touch or be close to objects with ozone and various strong oxidizing properties.
6. It is best to put the pad on the storage and plug it into a safety blockage to prevent accidental rolling. It cannot be placed vertically to prevent skewing.
7. If stored for a long time, it should be periodically turned over to prevent the internal pressure from continuously acting on the same place.
