Bearing. The service life of the roller depends mainly on the performance of the bearing and the seal. If the roller has good sealing performance, the service life of the roller is actually the service life of the bearing. The bearing not only has a significant impact on the service life of the roller but also has a certain influence on the rotational resistance of the roller. The test results show that the bearing frictional resistance accounts for 1/4 to 1/8 of the rotational resistance of the roller. The main reasons for the failure of the roller bearing are as follows:
a. Coal dust or slime enters into the bearing in a large amount so that the groove of the bearing and the pocket of the cage are filled with sludge, which cannot be rotated and fails; b. After the grease in the bearing is lost, due to the intrusion of external water or moisture, the steel cage, the steel ball, and the inner and outer channels are severely rusted, making them unable to rotate and fail. Deterioration of grease will also cause bearing failure; c, failure caused by the poor quality of the bearing itself; d, poor assembly quality after machining and bearing failure.
In order to solve this problem, we changed the roller bearing to the KA large clearance special bearing. The test data shows that even under very harsh conditions, the service life of the special bearing is much higher than that of the ordinary bearing, and the rotation resistance is twice as low the above.
