Abrasion problems and causes of conveyor belt in production:
Due to the long-distance, heavy-load work, the conveyor belt in the work will be worn or even the conveyor belt replacement situation will appear, resulting in a huge cost burden. The reason for this situation is generally in the three following forms:
Vulcanized joint abrasion is a consequence generally caused by the needs of the EP conveyor belt materials. Because of conveyor belt own rubber material abrasion resistance, heat vulcanization quality requirements are higher than the rub fastness of the adhesive layer at joints, and therefore, it is easy to lead to segment abrasion of adhesive layer at vulcanized joints, resulting in exposed steel core or nylon and EP core from steel cord conveyor belt and EP conveyor belt.
If the apron board of the material guide device is improperly commissioned or the design is unreasonable, the abrasion of the apron board on the EP conveyor belt will be caused in working. It causes serious abrasion to the adhesive layer at two sides of the conveyor belt, and the longitudinal direction of operation of the conveyor belt will expose the steel core or nylon core in the conveyor belt, steel cord conveyor belt or Nylon conveyor belt, once the steel core or nylon core tilts, it is easy to entangle on the carrier roller, causing breakage of steel belt or rubber belt, and seriously affecting the normal work of the EP conveyor belt.
The material falling point through the funnel is relatively fixed, so when repeated use of the funnel, multiple falling shock will cause the abrasion of the middle parts of the EP conveyor belt. The abrasion of the middle parts of the conveyor belt will generally cause two consequences: one is the serious abrasion of the part of the EP conveyor belt in the direction of the operation, resulting in the internal steel wire core detachment or conveyor belt tear; the other is the dangerous phenomenon “overlapping belt” caused by the strong decline of middle part of nylon adhesive tape.
