Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o tecido de tafet\u00e1, a taxa de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da sua resist\u00eancia \u00e9 superior, especialmente a resist\u00eancia da lona ao rasg\u00e3o longitudinal \u00e9 elevada, sendo, por isso, aplic\u00e1vel \u00e0 correia transportadora de borracha com junta mec\u00e2nica. Em pa\u00edses e regi\u00f5es desenvolvidos, como a Europa e a Am\u00e9rica, as fibras de aramida j\u00e1 s\u00e3o comumente utilizadas em produtos de borracha, mas a China ainda n\u00e3o as aplicou em larga escala. Atrav\u00e9s da compara\u00e7\u00e3o de desempenho, constatou-se que a fibra de aramida \u00e9 o material t\u00eaxtil ideal para correias transportadoras de borracha.
