C&rsquo;est parce que la r\u00e9sistance d&rsquo;une bande transporteuse, qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agisse de la tension nominale de la carcasse ou de la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la rupture ultime, repr\u00e9sente la force qui peut \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 la bande. Par exemple, une bande transporteuse EP \u00e0 3 plis est \u00e9valu\u00e9e \u00e0 110 PIW par couche, ce qui \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 une bande transporteuse de 330 PIW. Il s&rsquo;agit de la tension nominale maximale \u00e0 laquelle la bande peut fonctionner sans dommage. D\u00e9passer la tension nominale de la bande transporteuse EP peut provoquer des ruptures, un \u00e9tirement excessif, une d\u00e9faillance des jonctions, etc. Il est donc important de calculer la valeur PIW \u00e0 l&rsquo;avance.<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Puisque la bande transporteuse est l&rsquo;un des composants les plus importants du syst\u00e8me de convoyage, il est \u00e9videmment crucial de choisir la bonne bande transporteuse.<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de tension dans la carcasse d&rsquo;une bande transporteuse fournissent la r\u00e9sistance longitudinale n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9placer la charge et r\u00e9sistent \u00e9galement au couple g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 au d\u00e9marrage du syst\u00e8me.
